Phoebe Kalm Choi (b. 2001, Seoul, South Korea) is a New York-based artist whose work explores the emotional textures of growing up and the longing to reconnect with her younger self. Choi’s work combines eccentric forms with vibrant, contrasting colors, to express joy as something both energetic and tender, often drawing on the immediacy and physicality of children's art. Through intuitive layering and playful abstraction, she invites viewers into spaces where memory, movement, and emotion coexist freely.
She holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from Pratt Institute (2026). Her work has been exhibited in New York at Morgan Lehman Gallery, The Painting Center, Rockefeller Center with reSOUND New York, and Pratt Fine Arts Gallery. She has also been featured in Vibes N Vistas Magazine.
